Jean Terach Bavangila

Congolese born Jean-Terach Bavangila is a 23 year old professional athlete based in London, United Kingdom. Aside from my professional sports career, I am also a social activist and award winning Mentor, Public Speaker and Businessman. Together with his business partner Mr. Neves Mabu they launched Full Stop Events.

Full Stop Events is an international wedding and events company that operates and caters for both the corporate and public sector. We host our own private events to celebrate Congolese Excellence. We also provide; Event planners, Caterers, Security, Dj’s, sound engineers & extra staff for respective events.

Full Stop Events came into existence in 2013. The original motivation behind it was to have more uplifting, encouraging, positive events within the Congolese community in order to remove the focus from the negativity both domestic or elsewhere. Since then the company has grown to a wider target market and will continue to grow.

We also run a youth empowerment organization called “The Art of Survival” which operates in the UK and in both Congo’s respectively (DRC & Brazza). Its aim is to emancipate the development of young people in education, sports, music and Arts & Craft.

In December 2019, Jean was appointed “Head of youth mobilisation in UK” by the President Felix Tshisekedi’s political party UDPS, in order to prepare for the President’s visit to the UK in January 2019. He was in charge of mobilising and sensitizing all young people of the Congolese Diaspora whom of which reside in the UK.

Within the next 5 years I will firmly establish my social enterprise The Art of Survival here in UK in order to focus on developments in Congo. I will reinvest all surpluses recovered from the events business and consider establishing a United States (US) platform. I will continue to grow the Fitness club whilst keeping a close eye on potential start-up companies to invest in.
