Nancy Bopeya, founder and creative Director at Rehtsecouture. We are a fashion design business that offer unique custom made pieces to our clients. Rehtsecouture is Currently based in Bloomington, Illinois.
Rehtsecouture understands the particularity of every client and so with our african fashion influence, a listening ears, a unique sense of style and a vision of perfection, we create the perfect outfit for each of our client.
While in the Democratic Republic of Congo, where I come from, I attended  the most renown  Fashion Design School  ISAM. Unfortunately it was short lived, a year and half later, I relocated to the US. Later on, after finishing high school in Los Angeles,  I attended College in Chicago where I obtained  my Bachelors degree in Fashion Design from IADT.
During my years in College, I had already developed a clear vision in which direction I wanted to go with my career. Right after graduation, in 2003, I was given the opportunity to design dresses for my younger sister’s bridal party. Receiving compliments of my work, at the wedding  was a confirmation that Evening and Bridal wear would be my focus. 
God willing, in 5 years I see Rehtsecouture being a brand name and a worldwide reference. I see us adding a ready to wear category to our brand to generate accessibility of our products to everyone. I see Rehtsecouture in runways as well as fashion staging setting as a mentor and motivator, especially in Africa. 
After being ignored for so long,  African Fashion is receiving an outpouring wave of recognition by global press and international  clientele.  Africa being  the new trend give us african fashion designers an up hand to display our culture and meaning behind every cloth, african print and style.
